Spain v Northern Ireland Highlights

Northern Ireland travel to the Son Moix stadium in Palma for the first of two June international friendlies in preparation for their UEFA Nations League campaign in September. Earlier this year, Michael O'Neill’s side put together an assured performance, claiming a one nil victory over Scotland at Hampden Park, but his young team will have a tougher challenge against a Spanish side mooted as favourites to win this summer’s European Championships.

This will be the first meeting of the teams since 2007, when Spain won 1-0 at home, a year after Northern Ireland clinched a shock 3-2 victory in Belfast courtesy of a David Healy hat-trick.
