On the run: Elliot is stealing and spending across the globe, despite a growing squad of investigators hot on his heels.
At just 18 years of age, Elliot is an international fraudster who is on the run from law enforcement around the globe. He pursues his scams around the world, chasing the dream of a lavish lifestyle. But it is a lonely existence, which leaves him craving connection with family and friends. It also proves to be a perilous one – trips to Dublin, Toronto and elsewhere accrue investigators and police officers, several of whom speak in interviews and archive footage, keen to ensure he serves time for his crimes.
With a trail of crime stretching across continents, Elliot becomes more paranoid than ever that capture and a long stint in a foreign jail is just around the corner.
