'It’s a bit like the Twilight Zone!'

Christine says she feels like she's in the Twilight Zone.

“Sean, this is going to knock your socks off!” says Christine the Donaghadee Scouser, “because even as I’m writing it I don’t really understand what I’m talking about. I missed the beginning of the program because I was talking to my son who lives in Toronto so it’s now nearly 3:30 so I can’t say whether I like the music or not (but I’m sure I will!) I am writing this in real time, and I when you read it out I won’t be able to listen to it until BBC Sounds time—do you know what I mean? It’s a bit like the Twilight zone. So you’re real time and my message in real time isn’t really real to me because I’m going to be listening in BBC Sounds time! So I think I’ve explained it so we can all understand. What do you think?”

“Christine,” Sean says, “I think you need a wee lie down.”

With music from The Mavericks, Del Shannon, Dwight Yoakam, and more.
