'I had to hum a rich tea biscuit and a cup of tea!'

“I got antibiotics for my dog,” says Iris in Ballyclare.
“That was a fair swop,” Sean says.
“And the only way I could get them into him was humming with a rich tea biscuit and a cup of tea.”
“I’m lost here, Iris,” Sean says. “So you’ve got these antibiotics and you’re sitting humming and eating a rich tea biscuit and a cup of tea?”
“Do you remember when babies were weaning,” Iris says, “you would hum to them?”
“No, I don’t remember that,” Sean says. “I’ll ask my wife when I get home. But those tablets you got — you’re giving them to the dog, are you?”
