America's Northwest: Shaped by Nature

Qasa Alom travels to Northwest America to discover what continuing influence the natural world has on its people. Over two episodes, he travels from Seattle to Alaska. In episode one, Qasa meets the fishmongers in Seattle famous for selling their produce in a uniquely energetic way, goes on a whale watching tour to hear how sightings have rebounded, goes underground where regular flooding reshaped the city and visits the city's famous Space Needle, and in Alaska, he searches for gold with a local gold prospector.
