We work with communities, schools, scientists and the government to plant and nurture trees and hedgerows in parks, playgrounds and pastures across the UK.
Young Tree Champions programme
We’ve been supporting more than one million young people around the UK to plant thousands of orchards and miles of hedgerows in their school grounds, helping them to develop the knowledge, skills and tools they need to speak up to protect trees and our planet.
Meet Emma
After months out of school during the pandemic, Emma’s confidence was low and she felt stressed in class. Through Young Tree Champions, she learnt how to plant and care for trees and is now an ambassador, giving talks and gardening tips to classmates.
Wildlife-sustaining hedgerows
We also help people plant, gap up and manage countryside-connecting hedgerows, providing wildlife corridors to shelter and sustain our native songbirds, dormice, hedgehogs, pipistrelle bats and more.
