Raj Bisram and Irita Marriott - Day 5

Slap on the sunscreen, break out the bucket and spade! Antiques experts Irita Marriott and Raj Bisram are off to the Lincolnshire seaside. It’s their last chance to hit the shops in search of saleable items before they head off to their final auction. They’re aided once again by their unflappable Vanden Plas Princess, taking the hilliest of Lincolnshire’s terrain in its stride.

At the shops, Irita comes over all nostalgic as she stumbles across items from her childhood. She also gets her hands on some exquisite, enamelled artwork which she feels would benefit from being dismantled. Raj gets straight down to business, racking up a haul of potential purchases. But he still finds time for a spot of puppetry!

And while they’re at the coast, it would be churlish not to visit Lincolnshire’s most famous seaside resort, where Raj discovers the birthplace of the package holiday and meets the town’s jovial mascot, who’s been pulling in the punters for over 100 years.

The battle lines are drawn for their final showdown, where professional pride really is at stake.
