In a hotel room on the Venetian Lido, the creator and manager of the Ballet Russe, Serge Diaghilev, lies dying.

With him are Serge Lifar, his leading dancer, Boris Kochno, his secretary, and Misia Sert, a socialite and one of his oldest friends.

Starring Robert Stephens and Barbara Leigh Hunt.
