Dave Rowe of Plank! - A Trip Along The Cosmic Calder

Dave Rowe, of Manchester-via-Todmorden based instrumental trio Plank, takes listeners on a trip along the Cosmic Calder. In this episode, Dave focuses on music to come out of the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, with a special focus on Todmorden where he has lived for 5 years.

Plank are a band from Manchester, England and were formed in 2009 by Dave Rowe, Ed Troup and Johnny-Winbolt-Lewis. After the release of their debut album, Animalism, in 2012, Johnny was replaced by Liam Stewart, recording their second album, Hivemind, in 2014. After a hiatus, they returned with the third instalment of their nature themed trilogy Future of the Sea in early 2023.
