Christmas is just around the corner, and Scotland’s farmers are battling the elements to keep things running. In South Ayrshire, a deep freeze descends on John’s farm, creating havoc with the farm machinery and forcing them to cancel their glamping pod guests. On top of all that, imports of foreign lamb threaten profit margins for the lamb-fattening business.

In Moray, Nikki and Ollie pick up a big order from their local butcher. They’re showcasing and selling their buffalo meat and other home-grown produce at a Christmas farmer’s market.

In Newtonmore in the Cairngorms National Park, tupping is now under way. Robert finally gets to work building Jenni’s new alpaca trekking arena, where she plans to welcome tourists in the spring.
