How to Lock Your SIM on iphone or Android

Go to settings

Go to Mobile Data

Find SIM PIN

Move slider to switch SIM PIN on

If there is a default SIM PIN already set, contact your network provider to find out what it is ) – mine was 0000

Click CHANGE PIN

Select a PIN of your own (usually 4 digits)

Click DONE

Then switch your phone off , and on again, and you’ll be asked to ‘unlock your SIM’

Go to settings

Go to Security

Scroll down to SIM LOCK

Move the slider to lock the SIM card and if it asks for a default passcode, contact your network advisor – ours was 0000

Click Change SIM PIN (it will ask for the old one ie, default)

Select a PIN, minimum 4 digits.

Re-enter it

Press done.

Switch your phone off and on again

No-one will be able to use your SIM without that passcode.
