Samantha checks on Marnie before her ward rounds. There’s palpable tension. She works her way round the ward, caring for each patient and looking out for a junior doctor. Later that morning, she attends an ethics committee meeting to make a key decision: is it in Marnie’s best interests to continue treatment or not?
