In the UK, staff work alongside police teams to help victims walk free, rebuild their lives and secure justice. The charity is always focussed on bringing care, securing justice and creating change at scale.

James’s home was taken over by a criminal gang and with it his life. They used his house for prostitution and drugs - a crime known as ‘cuckooing.’ Justice and Care has supported James, and thousands of victims globally, to rebuild their lives following exploitation.

It is estimated that there are 100,000 victims of modern slavery in the UK - hidden behind closed doors like James, and exploited in nail bars, car washes and brothels, right under our noses. Men, women and children, trapped in exploitation.

Bringing Hope
The impact for victims is devastating. Fear and trauma means that they rarely engage with investigations – however when Justice and Care provide support, not only is there a greater chance of recovery, but more than 90% of survivors will engage with police.
