The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Clara is unable to unlock the gift of a strange egg-shaped box left to her by her late mother and given to her by her father just before they set out for a party at her godfather Drosselmeyer's house.

At the party, Drosselmeyer reveals that he made the egg for Clara's mother when she was younger, and Clara is led into a parallel world where she finds toys who feel abandoned on learning of the death of Clara's mother, their queen. Clara finds herself obliged to take sides in a war waged between the four realms within this toy world.
