Dogs for Good
Dogs for Good is a charity that brings people and dogs together to make life possible for the people they work with. They enable dogs to help people affected by disability, dementia, autism, and other conditions to live happier, healthier, more independent lives. We all know how good dogs are for us and the difference they can make to our lives but Dogs for Good dogs really do open doors, connect people and keep families together.
A more independent future

At 16, Zoe was diagnosed with a lifelong degenerative condition and felt that the walls were closing in on her. Dogs for Good matched Zoe with yellow Labrador, Sheila, and the help she brings has been transformative for Zoe.
Transforming a childhood

When autism assistance dog Caddie joined Joel’s family, no-one could foresee how he’d help change Joel’s life. “I never thought that my son would be able to finish school but now he’s going to college. It wouldn’t have happened without Caddie,” says mum Janet.
Freedom and a life, reclaimed

Thanks to assistance dog Rumba, Isabelle has overcome the challenges of her disability to live a more independent life and looks forward to a career helping others.
“I feel empowered by Rumba. Because of her, I can plan my future doing things I would never imagined doing before being partnered with her.”
