Ancient Connections Wales
In the first of two special programmes, Country Focus looks at a project celebrating the ancient links between two communities of North Pembrokeshire and Wexford.
Wales and Ireland are two Celtic lands, connected through time to present day. Ancient Connections is a cross-border project exploring the shared links through arts, heritage and sustainable tourism, with two pilgrimage routes in each nation. This week, presenter Caroline Evans' journeys from St David's Cathedral, along the Wexford-Pembrokeshire Pilgrim Way towards Fishguard to hear about a shared religious and cultural history.
