An ultra-Orthodox #MeToo?

Israel's ultra-Orthodox Jews are struggling to come to terms with recent high-profile sex abuse scandals, many involving children. What has added to the shock is how some religious leaders in this insular, devout community have criticised victims for speaking out. It's sparked anger and led to an unprecedented wave of activism in the ultra-Orthodox or haredi world. Some are describing it as a "me-too" moment. But will this lead to a lasting change?
