Hijabs Not Welcome

BBC News Arabic goes undercover to expose the businesses in Egypt that are accused of discrimination against women who wear the hijab. Most women in the country wear some form of head covering and the Egyptian Constitution bans discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, race or class. The BBC has identified venues who refuse entry to women wearing hijabs. We also reveal new evidence suggesting a major property developer is refusing to sell holiday properties to families with women who wear the hijab.
