Tonight at the Games: Day 3

JJ Chalmers and Isa Guha introduce highlights of a spectacular day of action at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham that saw 25 gold medals handed out.

Just two days after the individual triathlon golds were handed out, it was the turn of the mixed relay, which made such a stunning debut at the Olympics last year. Great Britain won a glorious gold, and three of their four team members are in action for England - Alex Yee, Jonny Brownlee and Georgia Taylor-Brown – which makes them strong favourites for gold.

There were nine medals given out in the pool tonight and six in the velodrome, while Commonwealth champions were crowned in the men’s and women’s rugby sevens.
