Teach A Man To Fish
Teach A Man To Fish supports young people in 34 countries around the world to develop new skills and seek new opportunities. We provide practical education and focus on critical thinking and problem solving skills that can help youth work their own way out of poverty.
Atim’s story

Atim (on the Left) is one of 6 children in a rural, Ugandan family with little food or money. Teach A Man To Fish gave Atim the opportunity to learn new skills at school, she now supports her mother’s market stall to be more profitable and plans to be a nurse.
Helping young people to learn and thrive

In a practical education programme, Teach A Man To Fish builds students' skills through planning and running a real business and investing the profit into the school.
Creating change for Uganda’s youth

Uganda is a country with very high poverty levels. Many families can’t afford to send and keep their children in school. We supported over 5000 young people in Uganda last year to learn new skills for success, in school, work and in life.
