It's estimated that around 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage. The experience of losing a pregnancy - both physically and psychologically - can be life changing. Yet millions of women go through it each year, and there is still so much we don't know about why it happens. Most countries don't even keep data on the number of miscarriages. After suffering several pregnancy losses herself, the BBC's global health correspondent Tulip Mazumdar has gone on a search for answers, and looks at how care for this extremely common - but little talked about - experience could be improved around the world.
