Episode 2
Despite being a virtual show, the Meenacross committee and competitors ensure it will be as good as ever.
Tá subh den scoth déanta do sheó Mhín na Croise ag an iomaitheoir Geraldine Murray. Ach tá rud éagsúil faoin chomórtas i mbliana - is seó talmhaíochta fíorúil é. Ní chuireann sé sin bac ar an fheirmeoir óg caorach, Seán Ó Dubhchóin ná ar an mharcach capall, Aoibhinn Ní Bhaoill. Tá Angela Ní Bhaoill ann freisin lena cuid glasraí. Tugann baill an choiste léargas dúinn ar an obair a dhéanann siad leis an seó a choinneáil ag dul i mbliana.
Geraldine Murray has whipped up some of her famous jams and baked goods for this year’s Meenacross Show. However, this year the show is a little bit different - it’s all virtual! However, that won’t stop young sheep farmer Shaun Doohan or horse jumper Aoibhinn Ní Bhaoill, while Angela Ní Bhaoill will also be competing with her veg. We hear from the Meenacross committee on what it’s like to have a virtual show and what it means for the long-standing agricultural show.
