Midwife Steph is by the side of an NHS colleague who’s planning to have her second home birth. Sonia works as a hospital ward midwife. However, it’s not all plain sailing for Sonia and husband Ashok.
Midwife Gemma is caring for plumber Lysette and partner Pete. The couple met through a shared passion for an unusual hobby - World War Two re-enactments. In true vintage style, they hope their baby will be born at home.
