Guest judge Nigella arrives in the MasterChef Australia kitchen and sets the contestants a Mystery Box Challenge. A money-can’t-buy prize and a chance at immunity awaits the contestant who dazzles the Queen of the Kitchen.

The rest of the hopefuls battle it out in Nigella’s second challenge: the Invention Test. Our home cook heroes must create a dish that snaps, crackles or pops to stay in the competition. Those who fail to impress the judges will be on the chopping block.
