The Importance of Being Andy
Uncle Andy gets his Covid jab, but it has a very unusual side effect. He is now smart, sophisticated and cultured. More amazingly he has also become completely non-sectarian!
History is made when Uncle Andy is barred by Sandy and Begbie from the Loyalist Kneebreakers Club for not being vaccinated for Covid.
A distraught Andy confesses to Dympna that he has always had a fear of needles. Dympna persuades Andy to get his injection and accompanies him to the doctor. The injection goes smoothly enough until Andy keels over.
When they get him home Billy and Dympna discover that the Covid jab has had a very unusual and dramatic side effect on Andy. It has totally transformed his personality. He is now smart, sophisticated and cultured. And more amazingly, he has also become completely non-sectarian!
