South London-based electro-punk provocateur Lynks kicks off 6 Music Queermas party.
Themed meal deal sandwiches aside, Lynks generally hates Christmas. But he is determined to put this aside and bring an hour of reluctant festive hedonism to the 6 Music Queermas party.
He is notable for his Leigh Bowery-esque masks and extravagant live show. He recently covered Lauren Laverne’s New Music Fix show here on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Tonight, Lynks will be transporting listeners away from the relentless drudgery of ‘Christmas cheer’ into the thoroughly untraditional world of Lynksmas. Expect queer bangers, elastic basslines and probably a sleigh bell or two in this exclusive festive mix.
