Tom is thrown into a panic and Natasha can’t get a word in edgeways.

Pat and Tony put pressure on Tom to apologise to Susan for Natasha’s accusation. They’re convinced that Susan’s innocent. As Tom relents and apologises, he starts to think they’re probably right. Natasha isn’t happy that Tom has apparently stopped supporting her. On top of everything else, she isn’t feeling great today. But she’s still hunting for a new home. They argue about her offer to take on more debt to cover a deposit.

Tony’s delighted that Johnny has taken the perfect photo for the Bridge Farm Christmas card. Hazel asks Pat and Tony to help explain her situation to Tom and Natasha. She really does need the flat herself – she’s been ill, her new place won’t be done up for months, and she wants to be near family, in her beloved Ambridge. Pat offers to do what she can.
When Pat explains the situation with Susan to Fallon, Fallon starts to feel guilty. She goes round to the flat and finds Natasha sitting outside, feeling low. Fallon confesses that it was she who accidentally tipped Hazel off. Natasha feels awful – first she had a go at Susan, now she’s had a stupid row with Tom for taking Susan’s side! And because they were fighting, she couldn’t even tell Tom the real reason she wants a bigger house. She’s pregnant – they’ve been trying for ages. Fallon congratulates her. But, with everything that’s been happening, Natasha thinks the timing couldn’t possibly be worse.
