Catrin Nye presents a range of great talks with a Welsh connection. This time she hears from three people with a unique take on inclusion.
Over the past two years, the theme of inclusion and diversity has gone to the top of the public agenda. In this edition of The Idea, Catrin Nye talks to three people who have a unique take on the statement Count Me In, including a Welsh African woman who, after finding a swastika daubed on her garage, decided on a positive response: she produced a cookbook celebrating fabulous food from people who have come to live in Wales from around the world. Catrin also talks to a woman who works to empower parents whose children are about to be put in care and a blind activist who wants theatre in Wales to be more inclusive.
The Idea brings us some of the best talks with a Welsh connection, and interviews with the speakers in depth about their big idea. It’s food for the mind, and inspiration for the soul.
The Idea is a Bengo Media production for BBC Radio Wales
