The Man Behind the Mask – Dave Prowse

A tribute to Dave Prowse, the Bristol-born bodybuilder, champion weight-lifter turned actor.

Dave rose to fame as the heroic face of Britain’s TV road safety campaign, The Green Cross Man

Later he became the man behind the mask of one of cinema’s greatest villains, Darth Vader in 'Star Wars'.

Dave Prowse died in 2020 aged 85.
