Archie’s Child Bereavement Service

Archie’s Child Bereavement Service currently receives a grant of more than £98,000 from BBC Children in Need for three years. Funding provides counselling sessions for children and young people who have lost a close family member.
Finn & Ailsa’s story

16 year-old Finn and 18 year-old Ailsa have been supported by Archie’s Child Bereavement Service after the loss of their Dad, Dave, to cancer. Twelve months on, Ailsa is at university and Finn is enjoying his studies at college and they both are looking forward to their future.
