Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers bid to buy items brought in by the public, including some architectural salvage, a painting and a dice machine.
Nigel Havers welcomes three more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First through the doors is ‘Cuba Steve’, with an unusual but beautiful object saved from an old theatre. Will the dealers realise what it is and be prepared to part with their cash? Next is Sujit, with a piece of artwork by a famous British artist. He reckons it is the real deal, but will Simon agree or reveal that it is a print? Either way, can Sujit seal a sale for a suitable price? Last to face the dealers is Emma, with an old tin box that has a clever feature. Both decorative and surprising, will it have the dealers reaching for their cash?
Today's dealers are Adi, Ian, James, Jane and Tash. Will any of them match – or even top – the valuation placed on each of the items?
