Experimental Explorations with Bohren & der Club of Gore

Two hours of experimental and avant-garde music including a featured album from German Doom Jazz trio Bohren & der Club of Gore. The group started out playing in hardcore punk bands such as 7 Inch Boots, Chronical Diarrhoea and Macabre Farmhouse, but changed tack ever so slightly in the 90s and stepped into more of a "slow jazz, Black Sabbath doom and down-tuned Autopsy sounds" kinda space, and this show focuses on their turn of the century album Sunset Mission. Elsewhere there's UK psychedelia, mythological folktales of celestial glory and supernatural dread, a girl who makes noise in Oregon and some purposeful silence.
