From Gaelchultúr to Oideas Gael and from the Sult nightclub to the BBC with Now You’re Talking, Gaoth Dobhair native Éamonn Ó Dónaill has long been recognised as one of the Irish language’s foremost educators. Éamonn has recently retired from Gaelchultúr and so Máire Bhreathnach took the opportunity to chat to him about his life and work in an extensive interview that is both fascinating and – wouldn’t you know it – educational!
