The Roaring 20's was a decade of economic prosperity with mass consumerism, cheap credit and cultural change following a time of crisis and the First World War. 100 years later, we may not have jazz, Coco Chanel or the Great Gatsby, but governments around the world have unleashed stimulus packages worth trillions of dollars to combat the economic impact of the pandemic.
