Chris is confronted with the ugly truth while Jazzer is offered some career advice
Tracy visits Jazzer at work and insists on a tour of the aquaponics. Tracy’s impressed but she notices Jazzer is downbeat. She suggests finding another job – there’s one going at Berrow for a start. But Jazzer finds plenty of reasons why he’d prefer to stay at Home Farm. When Tracy says there’s no difference between pigs and fish, Jazzer quickly enthuses about pigs, proving Tracy’s point that he should go for the Berrow job. Jazzer admits his previous knock back from Berrow and Tom’s decision to get rid of his pigs has dented his confidence. Tracy tells him whatever happens in applying for this Berrow job she’ll still be there, believing in him. Jazzer reckons there’s no harm in giving it a go.
Alice announces to Chris that she is packing. She can’t be with him anymore. Chris asks her to explain her actions. She says she’s only causing hurt for him and Martha. Chris continues to insist that she stays and that they love one another. So, Alice tells him about her drunken pass at Harrison. Chris demands the details and asks if her actions with Harrison show how she really feels. She tells him she loves Chris. Chris doesn’t know what to believe anymore and leaves the door open; if she wants to leave she can.
