American Dustin Johnson broke or tied nine tournament records as he tamed the famous Augusta National course in historic fashion with four majestic days of golf, including a new course record of 20-under-par. The 2019 runner-up led wire to wire to finally claim the green jacket at the tenth time of asking. It was the world number one’s second major title of his career following his US Open title success in 2016.
The 2020 Masters also proved to be the final tournament that BBC viewers were able to listen to the expert commentary and analysis of the voice of golf, Peter Alliss, who sadly passed away in December.
