In the Borders, paramedics Christine and Mike battle treacherous weather conditions to transfer a patient for a life-saving operation. Special operations paramedics Mark and Leigh race to Fife to assist the coastguard after reports of a missing person in the sea. And in Inverness, Jamie and Stuart are called to a non-responsive patient who needs urgent treatment in hospital.

In Paisley, Pete and Matt rush to an 83-year-old woman who has had a sudden onset of weakness and may be having a stroke.
