More of the world-renowned storyteller’s home recordings. Featuring: Hurricane Season, from 2021.

When the whole world ground to a Covid-fuelled viral halt - world-renowned storyteller David Sedaris recorded this special series of entertaining essays and diary entries at his Sussex home.

This time the focus of David’s sardonic wit and incisive social critiques is on - Hurricane Season.

David Sedaris first shared his very particular world view having brought us The Santaland Diaries back in 1996.

David has become one of America’s pre-eminent humour writers and, in 2019, was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that he's a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.

Producer: Steve Doherty.

A Giddy Goat production for BBC Radio 4, first broadcast in March 2021.
