Special operations paramedics Mark and Leigh are called to a car crash in Livingston, where a patient needs to be fully immobilised after complaining of neck pain. Paramedic Gary and technician Pete are called to a patient in Barrhead who has been coughing up blood and needs urgent assessment. In Edinburgh, rapid response paramedic John is called to a patient who has had a fall but is reluctant to go to hospital.
