The Blues beat Barnsley in the last round, in their first cup tie under new head coach Thomas Tuchel, and will be confident of reaching the semi-finals for the fourth time in five seasons.

For Sheffield United, meanwhile, the cup has proved a welcome distraction from disappointing Premier League form, with Chris Wilder’s side looking increasingly likely to be relegated. However, the Blades remain dangerous opponents on their day, as they proved with January’s shock 2-1 win away to Manchester United.
