Do Black Lives Matter in Brazil?

In the year when Black Lives Matter became a rallying cry around the world, a BBC Brazil investigation discovered that in the first half of 2020, more people were killed by the police in Rio de Janiero state than in the whole of America. Of those killed, 75% were black Brazilians, many of whom were just teenagers. Ligia Guimaraes meets several families fighting for justice over the killing of their sons.
