Gary West with a vibrant mix of piping music including solo sets from two of Scotland’s top players Adrian Melvin & Iain Spiers, a Gaelic song and small pipes combination from Anna Murray, Breton maestro Patrick Molard performs our Pibroch Of The Day and music from Lorne MacDougall , a young piper who has been working in film and television and even had his music featured on Dr Who! Plus we hear of a night of piping happening at this year’s Celtic Connections online festival featuring a line-up of pipers that includes Finlay MacDonald, Ross Ainslie, Malin Lewis, Ailis Sutherland, Conal McDonagh and BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2020 Ali Levack.
