Episode 2

Gordon Buchanan follows cheetah mum Savannah and her remaining cubs at a critical point in their lives as they learn to hunt and survive the dangers of the Kalahari. Gordon catches up with cheetah expert and guide Richard Satekge, and together they follow Savannah’s tracks.

Gordon learns that cheetahs can endure the natural threats they face, such as a lack of prey and predator competition, but it is the man-made imbalances in their ecosystem that pose the biggest threat.
