The Statue that Divided a City

Slavery underpinned great wealth and helped build cities like Bristol in the south west of England. In recent months, controversy over the future of some public statutes, including that of Bristol-born slave trader Edward Colston, have brought Britain's imperial past into sharp focus. In this film, two men from very different backgrounds who were there the day Colston's statute was pulled down, come together in a bid to find common ground.
