Episode 3
Comedian Shane Todd casts a millennial’s eye over the rich pickings of the BBC archive. In this episode, Shane celebrates the characters that make Northern Ireland great.
Comedian Shane Todd travels back in time through the BBC archive, unearthing his favourite clips and giving a unique comedic take on the people and stories of our shared past. He casts a millennial eye at the way we were – seeking out prime characters, crimes of fashion, 'interesting' pastimes and unpicking the big news stories of the day.
The final episode of the series sees Shane celebrate the characters that make Northern Ireland great. We meet a man who can communicate with chickens, Anneka Rice gets a cheeky proposition from the pokeman and we discuss people’s reaction to the great soda farl shortage of 1976.
Shane also brings his own brand of humour in original new sketches throughout.
