The Bus Behind the Iron Curtain
Mark Stephen hears about a group of St Andrews students who bought a double decker bus and took a road trip behind the Iron Curtain in 1968.
1968 was an international year of student protests, but a few St Andrews friends had other ideas. They bought an old AEC Regent double decker bus and ventured across Europe behind the Iron Curtain. 52 years later they are reunited to tell Mark Stephen all about the fun and games as they mosey down over to the continent finally making their way to Istanbul. The return is not without its scrapes either!
