Fourteen-year-old Jason is in excruciating pain after crashing his quad bike into a barbed-wire fence. The emergency department team have to act swiftly as they suspect he has broken his femur, the longest and strongest bone in the body.

Meanwhile, a dangerous condition leaves baby Helena struggling to breathe while sleeping. Doctor Osmon thinks he has found the solution to keep her airway open, but Helena is resisting the attempts to help her.
