In this episode, we follow crews from Paisley, Glasgow and Edinburgh as they respond to high-pressure 999 calls, 24 hours a day.

In Edinburgh, ambulance crew Stephen and Gwion are called to a festival worker who needs treatment for a reaction to a bee sting. An elderly patient with labyrinthitis has become dizzy and needs to be taken to hospital. Ambulance crew Colin and Dan do their best to make her feel comfortable and in safe hands. In the west, a sepsis case at a GP surgery needs emergency treatment and a fast transfer to hospital.
