Writer, comedian and former doctor Adam Kay guides us through the programme as the participants speak candidly of the admiration, respect and gratitude they feel towards the incredible doctors, nurses, midwives, porters, and other NHS staff who have touched their lives.

The celebrities include Amanda Holden, Lenny Henry, Jo Brand, Jack Whitehall, Phil Wang, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Katie Piper, Adrian Lester, Victoria Derbyshire, Konnie Huq, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc.
