Days nine and ten of the 2016 Games saw gymnast Max Whitlock lead the way by claiming two gold medals in one day with victory in the pommel horse and floor exercises.

The gold medals didn’t stop there. Tennis icon Andy Murray also topped the podium in the men’s singles, while equestrian ace Charlotte Dujardin won the dressage competition.
